Please read these terms carefully before booking your tour
Accommodation and Services
Riesen Travel Ltd. cannot be held responsible if some of the services, bonus features or facilities described in this brochure are not available or are not working.
Hotels may curtail or alter some facilities without notice, usually for the purposes of ongoing maintenance or improvement. User recreation equipment and facilities which may be included in your holiday package is subject to availability.
All hotel rooms are contracted on a "run of the house" basis. Specific requirements with regard to room location and other special requests cannot be guaranteed, and in most cases, cannot be confirmed prior to departure. This is at the discretion of the hotel.
Riesen Travel Ltd. reserves the right to restrict the number of single, double, triple, quad and child bookings it will accept at a particular property.
Handicapped Passengers
Riesen Travel Ltd. cannot guarantee that destination airports, transfer vehicles and accommodation will be wheelchair accessible. Services required for handling wheelchair-confined passengers are not included in the package price.
Notice to Travellers
Travellers should be aware that different living standards and practices and different standards and conditions with respect to the provisions of utilities, services and accommodation may exist outside North America. The quality standards of hotels and other services are established according to the standards of each particular country. If, due to circumstances beyond our control, the local supplier makes changes in itineraries, schedules or hotels, we reserve the right to substitute any of the services or hotels with similar or better ones.
Travel Documents
All passengers must have passports, visas and all health and other documentation required by laws of the countries they will be visiting. It is recommended that every passenger check all requirements. Riesen Travel Ltd. will not assume any responsibility whatsoever for any passenger not having the correct documentation, and no refunds will be made.
Responsibility
The tour operator acts only as agent for the various companies, owners or contractors providing the means of transportation, accommodation, and other services pertaining to the trip. All tickets are issued subject to the terms and conditions under which such means of transportation, accommodation and other services are offered or provided. The issuance and acceptance of such tickets shall be deemed as consent to the future conditions.
Riesen Travel Ltd. shall not be in any way liable for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or any irregularity in any vehicle or through the act of default of any company or person engaged in conveying the passengers or any hotel proprietor, personnel or servant of any other person, resulting in loss or additional expenses due to delay or changes in connection herewith.
Riesen Travel Ltd. cannot accept the responsibility for changes in transportation schedule or other causes. The right is reserved to accept or retain any person as a member of any tour, or to change or withdraw the tour as circumstances demand.
Each ticket is to be regarded as one contracted by or on behalf of the particular company or person named in it. Baggage is carried at owners' risk. The company assumes no responsibility for damage, loss or mishandling of baggage. Baggage, travel and health insurance is highly recommended.
Booking Information
Reservations
Reservations should be made as early as possible to ensure space. We will accept late reservations only if space is available.
Deposits
A non-refundable deposit of $1000.00 CAD is required at the time of booking.
This deposit is required to secure space with airlines, hotels and other suppliers.
Payments
Final payment due: January 15, 2026
We accept cheques or e-transfers, as detailed in the registration form.
Cancellations
The initial deposit is non-refundable. Anyone cancelling within 60 days of a tour departure is not eligible for refund from Riesen Travel Ltd.
Changes
Changes will be made upon availability of space at a charge of $100.00. No refunds will be made for missed sightseeing trips, transfers, meals or hotel accommodation not used.
Travel Insurance
It is recommended that travellers buy cancellation and medical insurance.
Prices
Prices may not include all government-imposed taxes and/or surcharges, and, where applicable, car rental taxes. All tour prices, unless otherwise stated, are per person based on two people sharing a room. All prices are quoted in Canadian dollars.
Increases in Tour Costs
The prices advertised are based on fixed costs at the time of going to press. These costs are dependent on fuel costs, rates of exchange, and other factors. Should these costs increase, Riesen Travel Ltd. reserves the right to increase the tour costs accordingly.
Baggage Allowance
Please refer to airline information supplied with your tickets. Within Europe, total baggage allowance is usually 20kg.
Validity
All rates and conditions are based on prices in effect at the time of organizing the tour and are subject to change without notice due to currency fluctuations and/or unforeseen circumstances.
Acknowledgment
It is understood that all clients touring with the company have read and accepted the provisions relating to the responsibility of Riesen Travel Ltd.
